We are seeking an experienced OutSystems Technical Manager to oversee the technical design, development, and delivery of OutSystems applications. This role involves hands-on technical leadership while maintaining the delivery process, ensuring that solutions are robust, scalable, and completed on schedule and within scope. The OutSystems Technical Manager will act as the conduit between product owners, development teams, and project management office, ensuring technical excellence and predictable delivery outcomes.
Your role:
Key Responsibilities:
Define and enforce best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines to maintain high-quality deliverables.
Conduct reviews of technical designs, code, and system integrations to guarantee quality, performance, and security across all deliverables. Ensure technical debt is maintained on an adequate level.
Guide and mentor OutSystems developers, supporting their professional growth and enhancing the team's technical capabilities.
Make critical technical decisions concerning platform usage, third-party integrations, and overall scalability of solutions.
Provide ongoing support to Product Owners and Business Analysts by analyzing production issues.
Plan and manage project scope, timelines, dependencies, and associated risks to ensure timely and successful delivery.
Coordinate efforts with product owners, development teams and cross-functional teams to maintain alignment and progress.
Ensure that technical implementation aligns with business requirements throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for all project stakeholders, facilitating clear and effective communication.
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of delivery and development processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Act as a back-up for Outsystems Application manager.

Skills/Qualifications:
Extensive experience as an OutSystems Technical Lead, with a proven history of technical leadership.
Demonstrated success in delivering medium to large-scale OutSystems projects.
Strong understanding of application architecture, systems integrations (including REST and SOAP), and data modeling concepts.
Experience leading development teams and conducting thorough technical reviews.
Hands-on expertise with agile delivery methodologies.
Excellent communication skills and proficiency in managing stakeholder relationships as well as communication with vendors.
Naturally curious and eager to explore new technologies.
Ability to contribute to a positive working environment.
Strong presentation skills, including the ability to present proposed approaches and solutions to stakeholders.
Ability to remain calm, objective, and in control in stressful or high-pressure situations.
Adaptation of delivery approach to banking regulations, governance, and realities.
Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have
Hold OutSystems certifications at the Associate, Professional, or Expert level.Experience in roles such as Delivery Lead, Project Lead, or Scrum Master.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) within the OutSystems platform.
Background in working within regulated or enterprise environments.
