Are you an experienced Financial Reporting Analyst (minimum 5–6 years of experience in banking industry) looking to join our team at the Istanbul Representative Office of GarantiBank International?

Your role

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparation of Group Financial Reporting Packages in accordance with IFRS/BRSA requirements on a monthly basis
• Following up on the Group’s updates to accounting policies and procedures and communicating these to stakeholders
• Supporting the month-end financial statement closing process
• Assist in preparation of GBI statutory financial statements and disclosures for the annual report
• Delivering ad-hoc reports and preparing presentations for the Bank’s top management

Skills/Qualifications     

Experience and Skills Required:

• Minimum 5–6 years of experience in financial reporting or a related role within the banking industry.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and BRSA reporting requirements.
• Proven experience in preparing financial statements, group reporting packages, and statutory disclosures.
• Familiarity with month-end closing processes and financial statement preparations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial reporting software, and other relevant tools.

• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams (e.g., IT, Finance, and Auditors) and external stakeholders.
• Collaboration & Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within the Financial Control and Reporting department as well as across the organization.
• Time Management: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion of reporting, audits, and control processes.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to handle changes in systems, accounting standards, or processes, ensuring smooth transitions during implementation.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field: A strong academic background in financial management or accountancy.
