Working Environment
FI, Sovereign and GMS Credits Department maintains Country Limits, Bank Limits, Issuer Limits and GMS Limits in line with relevant policies. Global Markets & Sales (“GMS”) is the bank’s growing business line. Credit Division’s approach for GMS business is relationship-based and tailor-made, with a selected number of clients with sufficient knowledge about the financial assets. We are looking for a team member to assist mainly in GMS Limits Management and Monitoring due to growing nature of the Business Line.
Your Role
At the GMS Credit Department, you will be part of the team to manage the credit risk arising from the loans granted to high networth individuals against pledge over their financial assets as collateral. You are responsible to support the decision making process around credit decisions and maintain control environment over the portfolio ini terms of limit excesses and collateral sufficiency perspective. You will act as a key point between GMS Business Unit, middle office, back office, legal and credit department. In addition to GMS credit risk functions, you will be part of the team that’s also responsible for Country, Bank and Issuer Limits.
Key Responsibilities
You will be seeking solutions and give advise on Credit issues in your job responsibility by means of providing various services the bank is offering to our international and internal clientele:
- Appraisal of Limit Requests & presentation to Credit Committee.
- Maintenance of High Networth Private Customers (GMS) limits and credit files.
- Monitoring and approving each transaction from relevant banking platforms, actively taking part in Business Execution and risk booking.
- Collateral Management and monitoring collaterals on a daily basis via data sources from various external systems.
- Establishment of necessary controls around the internal processes pertaining monitoring and collateral management.
- Stakeholder Management of Business Units, Credit and Treasury Services and Credit Committee Members.
- Stakeholder Management with parent entity in terms of limit utilizations, reporting of risk details, internal limit transfers and transactional approvals when needed, with the goal of supporting business continuity and limit adherence.
- Contributing to in house system improvements of relevant tasks for digitalization, automation and efficiency improvements in collaboration with Process Owners and Operations Teams.

Skills and qualifications
- University graduate (Business Administrator/Economics/Engineering is preferred).
- Fluency in English (excellent written and verbal skills).
- Strong Communication skills with timely and clear guidance to stakeholders.
- Organized way of working to coordinate tasks in line with other stakeholders’ calendars.
- 3-5 years of experience with investment and derivative products preferably familiar with Private Banking practices.
- Moderate knowledge of Counterparty Credit Risk.
- Perform to manage various tasks by multi-tasking / prioritizing to meet deadlines by creating own agenda.
- Strong knowledge and interest in using Microsoft Excel with continuous improvement in mind to reach utmost efficiency.
- Analytical thinking, and application of own analysis on to historical limit/risk/collateral data accumulation. Interest in creating data analysis (Power BI /Excel pivots etc) is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of investment products (bonds, equities and ETFs).
- Highly motivated, ambitious, team player, open minded and curious by nature.
- Demonstrates creativity, organized and pays attention to detail.
- Risk management ownership with credit analysis skills.
- Meet deadline and able to execute as well as deliver under time constraints.
- Strong negotiating skills and “hands-on” mentality, able to take rational decisions in difficult situation.
