Internship Overview: As a KYC Intern, you will play a crucial role in our BSS team, working alongside experienced professionals. This internship is designed to provide you with hands-on experience and insights into regulatory compliance, customer assessment, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our KYC/CDD team to analyze documentation for new prospects, ensuring they meet our stringent security standards and assessing their overall business risk.
• Assist in conducting periodic reviews and preparing reports on existing customers to ensure compliance with KYC/CDD requirements and card scheme regulations.
• Provide support to Sales and Account Management teams regarding potential clients and our bank's acceptance policies.
• Stay vigilant to detect any fraudulent, illegal, or unusual client activities and promptly report them to superiors.
• Participate in conducting sanction controls to ensure compliance with laws and regulations before executing transactions, seeking guidance from the GBI Compliance department when necessary.
