Medior Compliance Officer

Your role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medior Compliance Officer, with 3 to 5 years of work experience with a focus on Customer Compliance and Financial Markets & Sustainability. The successful candidate will be responsible for customer conduct related matters, like investor protection, best execution, complaints, product governance aspects, monitoring, KPIs and KRIs, market abuse, conduct in securities markets and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the senior Compliance Officers in compliance monitoring activities.
- Assist the senior Compliance Officers in projects such as new products or services.
- Assist in risk assessment in respect to Customer Compliance and Financial Markets & Sustainability.
- Assist coordination of follow-up actions for requests from regulatory authorities and timely responses.
- Assist in updating relevant Compliance policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve compliance issues.
- Support senior team members in preparing reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal procedures.

Skills/Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of relevant legislation of EU and Netherlands, including MiFIDII, EMIR, MAD/MAR, SFTR, CSDR, EU Taxonomy and SFDR.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in English; Dutch is a plus.
Education:
- At least a bachelor degree in finance, law or a related field.

In total, the team consists of 8 employees, working collaboratively across these specialized areas to ensure that GarantiBBVA International operates within all regulatory frameworks.
